A bit of an update on what is happening with my musical projects.

The Charm Offensive

We’ve got a gig coming up this Sunday, 17 March, at Swamplands Bar, 744 High St, Thornbury. An afternoon of original music with three Great bands: Snow & Co., the Charm Offensive and the FAQs.

Show times are:
Snow & Co. 5.30 - 6.15pm
Anthony Rea & The Charm Offensive 6.45 - 7.30pm
The FAQs: 8.00 - 8.45pm

Look out for our next show in the eastern suburbs on Saturday 4 May at the Palace, Camberwell.

Arctic Circles/ Lyrebirds Union Show

This is a one-off event featuring Istvan Danko (Arctic Circles), Michael Dunbar (Lyrebirds, Bakers Daughter) and myself getting together for a one-off gig, performing our respective bands' “hits" from our glory days as well as some of our fave covers, including songs from Neil Young, Iggy Pop, The Strokes, The Jet Buzz, David Bowie, The Ramones, The Clash, REM, and more! Free entry.

The Spacecake “lost recordings” are in the can, mastered and ready for release. We’re just finalising cover art and liner notes for a release in the next few months. The double album will be available on Spotify, Apple Music and we will print a limited run of CDs for those still clinging to old technology.
